Prices and payment
The pilot price is shown in pounds sterling, euros or US dollars depending on where you visit from, and in US dollars everywhere else. It is an indicative range. The price you pay is the fixed one in your written proposal, in the currency stated there, and nothing is charged until you accept it.
Invoices are issued by Javier Ponz trading as Machines Do It Better. Recurring third-party costs (your Hermes Cloud subscription and model usage) are billed to you directly by those providers, not by us.
Terms of the Founder Pilot
- Scope: one use case and up to two flows, exactly as described in your proposal. Changes after acceptance need a new proposal and price.
- Guarantee: for 14 days from handover we fix reproducible faults within the agreed scope. This does not affect your statutory rights.
- Cancellation (consumers in the UK and the EU): you can cancel within 14 days of accepting the proposal without giving a reason, under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the equivalent EU rules. If you ask us to start within those 14 days and then cancel, you pay a proportionate amount for the work already done. Once the service is fully delivered at your request, the right to cancel ends.
- Business customers have no statutory cancellation right; cancellation terms are set in the proposal.
- Third-party services: Hermes Cloud (Nous Research) and Telegram are provided under their own terms, which you accept when you create your accounts. We are not responsible for their outages or changes.
- Liability: nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the pilot. AI models can make mistakes: the agent assists you, and decisions remain yours.
- Law: these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live and can bring a claim in its courts.
